Feel the Burn follows rival spies LaShay and Vivian, two elite operatives who are forced to reunite for a mission that tests their skill, loyalty, and hearts. Their target is Rudy, a charismatic operative with a shadowed past, with whom each has shared secretive missions under different identities across the globe. Yet their connections with him extend far beyond duty--both women have experienced intimate and romantic bonds with Rudy, making the mission deeply personal. As they embark on their assignment, the ghosts of a shared mission on the Caribbean island of Saint Louis resurface, stirring guilt, tension, and unresolved emotions. LaShay and Vivian must confront their fraught history with one another, navigate lingering desires, and reconcile their personal feelings while executing a mission that demands precision, courage, and sacrifice. In the dangerous game of espionage, love, loyalty, and betrayal collide, and both women must decide how far they're willing to go for duty--and for the man they both love.

In a world of two-screening it’s nice to have a film that believes in the role of the audience again. Make the audience question, make them put pieces of the puzzle together and then let them know they were right. Go to Full Review Charlotte Simmons The Treatment (Substack) Oct 6, 2026
