Driver is a skilled Hollywood stuntman who moonlights as a getaway driver for criminals. Though he projects an icy exterior, lately he's been warming up to a pretty neighbor named Irene and her young son, Benicio. When Irene's husband gets out of jail, he enlists Driver's help in a million-dollar heist. The job goes horribly wrong, and Driver must risk his life to protect Irene and Benicio from the vengeful masterminds behind the robbery.

PlutoTV), it loses the intensity with the commercial breaks and it would not be surprising if the viewer switched-off midway through (since the action starts halfway through the movie). Yes, the soundtrack is unique and something you will not hear in other movies. Ryan Gosling has that quiet, mysterious role...it takes a while to decide if he is a good guy, or bad. The storyline is pretty straightforward and easy to follow. It is filmed in a way that pulls you in to the scene and thankfully doesn't fall to the tired standard of everything having to take place at night. Its one of Ryan's best most iconic films along with The Believer and The Place Beyond the Pines. And yes The Notebook. Drive is one of those hyper real pieces of visual art and sound/music that when combined with great actors makes for something special and unique.
