Tarantino designed this revisionist western to blow people's gaskets. Packed with physical comedy, bloody action and hell-bent revenge, it looks like a classic widescreen Sergio Leone western... Go to Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator Sep 4, 2018
A good film, and a crazily entertaining film, until Tarantino does blow everything up, at which point it just becomes rather silly. Go to Full Review Roxane Gay BuzzFeed News May 25, 2018
The film is at times brilliant but mostly infuriating. It is a good movie in that masturbatory way most Tarantino films are good. Go to Full Review Branyan Towe Loud and Clear Reviews Jul 29, 2024

It might not be the most innovative in Tarantino’s oeuvre, but it’s got real stakes and memorable characters one can root for. Django is packed with Tarantino’s postmodern trademarks, but it also has the added value of actually addressing serious issues. Go to Full Review Read all reviews

Eric Apr 25, 2025 I wish I could give this movie 10 stars. Best movie that I’ve ever seen! See more Matt Aug 31, 2023 LOVED IT! Never seen this before. You’re missing out if you don’t watch this. See more Darcy J @Darcidious 2 days ago fantastic acting, superb action, great visuals and a sensational script, plot and direction by tarantino. See more B P @Bradster69 Oct 3, 2026 Definitely Recommend It See more Brendan K @Bkeller25 Sep 30, 2026 One of my favorite Tarantino films, and it doesn’t get enough credit. I honestly prefer this over Pulp Fiction. The middle act is a bit slow and less action packed, but the finale is so unhinged. The acting is top tier from everyone. It’s a bit on the long side, but I’m not sure what I’d cut down. Every moment feels meaningful. See more Brandon B @syncopatedbeet Sep 21, 2026 One of the most violent, vulgar and shocking films I’ve seen but that’s what makes it so good. See more Read all reviews
