Mick Dundee (Paul Hogan) is an adventurer in the truest sense. He is an ace crocodile hunter who lives in the wilds of the Australian Outback. He has even survived the dangers of New York City. However, his latest adventure may be the biggest test for him yet. Mick Dundee is traveling to that bizarre netherworld - Los Angeles, California.

Critics Consensus

A sequel as unnecessary as it is belated, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles lacks virtually all of the easygoing humor and charm that delighted fans of the original.

Mick Dundee is not so much a fish out of water these days as terminally behind the times.

When movies have degraded to the point that Tyson is acting more than Quentin Tarantino is directing, maybe it is time for an industry shutdown, strike-induced or otherwise.

Well, this movie is not really funny, but it is pleasant enough. One of the strangest aspects of the film is the lack of actual plot throughout most of the runtime.

Like Zoolander 2, Basic Instinct 2, and Dumb and Dumber To, Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles was one of those belated sequels requested by absolutely no one.

Virtually random events allow for the fish-out-of-water lead to stumble into humorous scenarios that have zero lasting power.

I do not understand all the negativity. As expected, it is Crocodile Dundee. Pretty formulaic and predictable but still enjoyable. I did not bother to watch for 24 years because of the bad reviews. I am glad I gave it a chance and would plug in #4 if there was one.
