Bier F @Bierfuizl 3 days ago An all time classic. This is legendary! The critics have no clue ☹️ See more Eileen R @RT45984784 Oct 1, 2026 This movie is absolutely great. Proving, once again, the critics don't know what the hell they're talking about. This is also probably the weirdest character I have ever seen. William Defoe play ( which is saying alot...), but he did it excellently. This whole movie is a classic from start to finish. And I really love how the director played around with the timeline that was really cool to me. just outstanding. I have probably watched this movie five or six times already. And it gets better every time... See more Qinq D @RT14362661 Aug 24, 2026 Willem Dafoe is having an absolute blast, while Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus give the film its reckless, charismatic center. The dialogue pops with attitude, the performances are gloriously committed, and the whole thing has a scrappy, anarchic charm that’s hard to resist. It’s violent, funny, outrageous, and unapologetically stylized. A cult crime movie that wears its heart, and its Catholic iconography right on its sleeve. See more Piya S @piyasqm Aug 19, 2026 The Boondock Saints is what happens when two Irish brothers decide they’ve had enough of Boston’s criminal element and take the highly reasonable approach of declaring a one-family war on evil. Reasonable? Not remotely. Enter Sean Patrick Flanery and Norman Reedus as the MacManus brothers, two hard-drinking, hard-hitting vigilantes who stumble into their calling with the subtlety of a brick through a stained-glass window. And then there’s Willem Dafoe, who essentially detonates every scene he enters. His performance as FBI Agent Paul Smecker is part detective work, part theatrical event, and completely unforgettable. Watching him piece together the brothers’ increasingly elaborate crime scenes while everyone around him behaves like they’ve wandered into the world’s strangest police procedural is half the fun. See more Anthony F @Anthony999 Jul 31, 2026 Unjustifiably a "cult classic", really just a watered down Tarantino rip-off. There is no moral relativism for the viewer to hold own to, just absurdly juvenile violent set pieces. Willem Dafoe, apparently given free rein, hams it up unmercifully adding to the schlock. Skip it. See more Bad E @RT00746028 Jul 25, 2026 the cat died it made me quite upset and its also just an ass movie. See more Read all reviews
