For a while, the found-footage horror thriller "Bodycam" appears to have something to say and, therefore, a better-than-average sense of how to handle its subgenre’s tropes and tics. Then, in the last 10-15 minutes, the illusion is spoiled.

This movie takes a cool approach to the "defund the police" and "some 9-1-1 calls need a mental health worker". While it’s masked as a supernatural horror, it accurately depicts how a police officers mistake can ruin their lives through mental health issues such depression, portrayed perfectly in this film by the super natural evil. You’ll notice critics will love this film because they get it and regular folk may have been let down by their education system (IE education of metaphors).

I honestly don’t like "found footage " films, this one definitely proves me correct. It’s a waste with a disappointing ending.

The first 15 minutes of Bodycam deceptively lead you to believe this movie is gonna be good. The reality is that it’s an uneventful, boring, low budget horror flick with laughably bad CGI. Don’t waste your time watching this.

I really enjoy found footage horror movies when it's done right. This point of view shot from the cops is great. The heavy breathing and the flash light going in and out was really scary good. The supernatural elements of the movie blew me away. Overall this movie was very intense and unsettling. Tim Treakle
