Drew M @Stonehands211 1d Pretty much a British remake of both Super Size Me films. I don’t mind getting these updated documentaries every so often though. This one is very lucky to have such a charismatic host for us to follow a long their journey as he’s quite literally learning most of your information for the first time very apparently as you can see it on his face plainly with every bleak fact he learns about the business of chicken factories. I also liked that they added the horrible working conditions for the workers in these factories as well. The gimmick of the host eating chicken for an entire month is unfortunately just that. A gimmick. I’d say watch the other two Spurlock (RIP) films instead but this is a decent slightly updated version of what he has done in the past. The greed. The chemist that design additive food. The ag gag laws that protect animal factories from people going in and documenting their animal atrocities. The harm to the environment and the human rights violations on both workers and poor communities where they setup shop. Health and a little bit of animal exploitation. Sad part is that even after seeing all of that, Mo continues to eat fried chicken which continues to fuel this horrible industry. I wished he would have seen a little bit more of animal activists footage at animal factories and also tried a couple of vegan fried chicken options on his many cities where he visited. Overall. A good documentary , while is very human centric , still shades a little light on this and many other fast food See more Geoff R @RT78320596 5d Very slickly produced, but somehow he keeps randomly running into known anti-meat activists wherever he goes in the US. Definitely an agenda piece and a blatant rip-off of Super Size Me. I'll keep eating chicken, but not three times a day for a month.
