The lesson here is don't mess with the inner rage of a teenage girl. But Becky's crazed kills get more and more gimmicky, and there's nothing in the script to indicate what has turned her into a pint-sized death-dealer.

On the whole, Becky is a well-paced and action-driven distraction with an unlikely hero. It's a perfect vehicle for its two leads, who are certainly suited for these kind of out-of-the-box roles.

It was okay. Not great, but not terrible. I don't like this modern-day trend of large movie plot holes just being ignored and never fully explained. It's almost like they expect us to just give it a pass and shrug it off. That is frustrating and obnoxious to all viewers. So, without spoiling anything, I felt that this movie had one gigantic plot hole that was a vital motivating factor for a primary character and it was never explained in any way. Lazy story-telling! That rendered most of the movie pointless. Overall, it wasn't nearly as clever or entertaining as Home Alone, which is a timeless, rewatchable classic in our current age. There was little catharsis in the finale. This movie, unfortunately, offered no hope, no great resolution, and ultimately, no point.

Unlikable characters, unorganized screenplay, unoriginal story, unconvincing portrayals. Lulu shows promise and seemed to take the job seriously, as did Ms. Brugel.
