At the Royal National Gallery in London, the bumbling Mr. Bean (Rowan Atkinson) is a guard with good intentions who always seems to destroy anything he touches. Unless, of course, he's sleeping on the job. With the chairman (John Mills) blocking Bean's firing, the board decides to send him to a Los Angeles art gallery under false credentials. When Bean arrives, his chaos-causing ways are as sharp as ever, and curator David Langley (Peter MacNicol) has the unenviable task of keeping Bean in line.

How many English language films can say, "To hell with America!"? Very few. Basically only "Bean", which has already racked up over $100 million before the picture has even unspooled in one New Jersey mall.

I watched this as a kid. Most of the time my brain felt slop. I can remember only 3 scenes that were actually funny. It's sort of weird to see how many people like this movie. Mr. Bean was supposed to be for kids. How did it become this guy? SPOILER ALERT. He ruined a man's life, he ruined a 50 million dollar painting, and no one knew it was a fake. Mr Bean felt more like a villain than a main character. In the other movie he was the nice guy, but in this movie he was an idiot goofball. I couldn't watch the last 30 minutes because guess what? It's 11+. What the heck did they turn Mr Bean into? :[

Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom, e quaee prrto do final do filme tem o meme dele que mostra o dedo do meio para as pessoas na rua.

Bean, A classic COMEDY movie that I know might not seem fitting for alot of critics but i genuinely don't understand why people were expecting the mona lisa of film with a deep meaning, but Bean isn't that, its a fun film with lots of heart.
