Blake- N @PBSAniDom 1d Batman: Bad Blood is a fairly mid entry in the DC animated film lineup, with some solid ideas that don’t quite reach their full potential. The story introduces multiple Bat-family characters, which is interesting on paper, but the execution feels a bit rushed and uneven. Batman himself takes a step back for much of the film, which allows characters like Batwoman and Nightwing to take the spotlight. While that’s a nice change of pace, not all of the character development lands as strongly as it could, and some relationships feel underdeveloped. The action scenes are decent and the animation is generally good, but the overall pacing feels scattered, jumping between subplots without much depth. The villain is serviceable but not particularly memorable. Overall, Batman: Bad Blood is watchable and has its moments, but it doesn’t stand out much compared to stronger DC animated films. But, when I was a kid, me and my dad liked it. But rewatching it now, I didn’t like it. The action choreography is cool and all. Batman was good, I freaking hated Damian Wayne as Robin and Batwoman was trash. Batwing carried. The plot is not good. Storyline is one of the most weirdest movie stories ever made. See more Akash A @RT62237870 06/23/2024 This was an absolutely amazing Batman movie - the best of the trilogy and one of the best animated & Batman animated movies I've seen. The action was wonderful, colors were great, and I loved the expansive cast. One of the common complaints was that it was a bat family movie more than a Batman movie. Two things, one is, if every movie just featured Batman, it would eventually be run down, and two, where else would they go? They are a part of Batman's world. They would go in a Batman movie - nowhere else. I really enjoyed this movie, it had a pretty solid story, with some twists, great action, and very enjoyable 'cinematography' / settings. Rare 5 stars from me.
