The premise will silly had all the hallmarks of a modern age dumb and dumber but what let it down not the acting. It might have been the script or it might have been the director. All the jokes ( and by this I mean literally everyone of them) if you could even call them that were so telegraphed that I was sure there was going to be a twist. But there was not. This movie is worth a handful of edibles and a long plane ride where you have nothing else to watch and you have to zonk and fry your brain to the point of being incapable of speech. Only once you are fully that comatose could this maybe ( And I am going to use this adverb loosely) Just maybe be an actual comedy. I for love of al that is good in the world wished this was written by AI but no, not apparently it wasn't. Honestly if you have a spare 1 hour and 45 minuets and a few fist falls of edibles then you might enjoy it. See more Harry C @RT99835410 Jul 18 They had great actors and comedians, a funny concept, and then they threw it away for a movie that forgets who it is. It has bad timing, poor direction, and doesn't feel like a coherent story. A story about this new innovative product should have been hilariously silly but instead the movie dumps the focus of the product after the first 10 minutes and becomes a generic lackluster "comedy". Even Sacha Baron Cohen wasn't enough to salvage this, his scenes were well done, his timing was excellent and it felt like that part of the movie had a completely different writer and director. The rest was just boring, slow and forgettable. And its so disappointing, when I saw the trailer I was excited for a raunchy hilarious silly comedy, what I got was incoherent generic streaming platform drivel.
