The runtime alone becomes a problem, stretching the story far beyond what its narrative can support and making the experience feel exhausting rather than immersive. The story constantly shifts direction. Just as one plot point begins to develop, the film jumps to something else, preventing any emotional or narrative payoff. That lack of focus makes it hard to stay connected. The screenplay reflects this confusion, piling on complexity without clarity or resolution. Direction fails to unify the material, leaving the film bloated and unfocused. While it may have worked for audiences at the time, Angaaray struggles to translate for modern viewers.
