Swings for the rafters with mercurial tempos, ragged eruptions and a deracinated palette, as if the film stock had been dragged in dust. Fluorescence and a flat, featureless everyday light predominate. All is chaos, all is commonplace.

Really liked this movie. I love the way all 3 or 4 stories following POV of different people connect to make a shocking amazing action packed film. I can say this movie is Heavy, Intense, and Shocking but definitely worth your 2 30 minutes of attention. I am Mexican and love to see a movie was filmmed were I basically walk everyday. If you can REALLY recommend watching

Deleite total. La naturalidad con la que conecta sus tres historias paralelas, el contexto de la cultura y problemática social mexicana, y su soundtrack, hacen de esta una de mis películas favoritas. La película reconcilia a personajes fuera de todo parámetro moral con una gran ternura que los humaniza. Octavio refleja una ingenua ternura en su enamoramiento y en su ilusión de un futuro mejor junto a la esposa de su hermano. El Chivo, el asesino a sueldo, revela un coraje brutal detrás de su dureza: como excluido de la sociedad, forma con sus perros un vínculo sin condición que termina de humanizarlo. Daniel y Valeria muestran cómo el amor puede ser tan frágil e impredecible como la vida misma. La relación de cada personaje con su perro es metáfora de esa relación perra que viven: un amor tan intenso como un fuego que termina quemándolos. El soundtrack, "Lucha de Gigantes" de Nacha Pop: brutal y atemporal.

One of the best movies that I have ever seen. Brutal, sometimes hard to watch, just remember that no dogs were unarmed in the making of this film, but so brings home the certain fact that we have experienced as humans: Love's a Bitch
