Kathy V @KathyV Feb 19, 2026 Accidental Babe is a delightfully unconventional comedy that takes a bold look at identity and gender through a humorous lens. Featuring Susan Linville in a standout role, the film follows Henry, whose life takes a wild turn when he accidentally undergoes a sex change operation. The twist escalates as he navigates his new reality as a woman, ultimately embracing life as a lesbian in a small town. The plot thickens when it's revealed that the town's seemingly benign minister is, in fact, the serial killer terrorizing the community. This unexpected twist leads to a series of laugh-out-loud moments, showcasing the absurdity of confronting societal norms while mixing in a thriller element. With its blend of campy humor, shocking revelations, and heartfelt discoveries, Accidental Babe stands out as a charming B-rated gem that offers both laughs and a refreshing perspective on self-identity.
