First time watching The Collector and wow what a movie!! I dont think ive ever seen a movie that made me feel so unsettled and yet had me hanging on the edge of my seat. The story was written amazingly and it was easy to follow and not over done, the acting was great and there was actual characters that you were rooting for rather then a character who you dont care if they live or die, the main villian of the story 'The Collector' was perfect a silent killer that didnt need to speak because his actions and personia spoke for him a creepy masked killer who collects people, i mean thats just creepy in itself!!! The only thing i was let down by was the kills but that cant really be helped when its trap kills, however the parents who died were killed off camera which was a bit of a let down but overall a great movie and would recommend!!!

Anti gay slurs never sit right with me as a gay person, and this has at least a few uses of it. Good gore though.
