Pondering what all this means in terms of contemporary concepts of masculinity is much more interesting than the film itself, which feels very much like something lifted wholesale from video game culture. Go to Full Review

Derivative and forgettable, Worldbreaker is ultimately too repetitive with its weak plot about a father and his teenage daughter trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by zombie-like creatures. The visual effects are mediocre. Go to Full Review

Some decent acting and cinematography give the film a veneer of respectability, but at heart this is sheer B-movie bobbins. Go to Full Review

On the surface, Worldbreaker is a mediocre creature feature, but just beneath that surface is a vibrant metaphor, waiting for adults to pick it up and point it out. Go to Full Review

Mr Hollywood Feb 9 Ridiculous. Most of the movie we are on an island with the two characters. Once it starts to be exciting it’s over. Ridiculous See more Rob Feb 4 Good sci fi fantasy film. Irish film. Cool monsters but they aren’t shown that much. More drama than action. See more Michael K @RT61139302 4d Awful movie, essentially another Mary sue girl power boss bit*h terrible writing nonsense… honestly I couldn’t even make it past the first 40 minutes and I had to create a rotten tomatoes account to save some other unfortunate soul that thinks it’s worth the watch… opening intro is the cringiest most pathetic sh*t I’ve ever seen essentially it’s "the men went to war they lost now the boss bitc**s have taken up the sword" yeah because what the more martially inclined gender physical built for conflict with fighter jets tanks and wmds failed to do a bunch of girls with literal swords could… honestly I cannot emphasis how sick I feel even thinking about it, I wish I could go back in time and gouge the eyes from my own skull…. The idea behind the movie was so good a Great War men dying on mass the women and children rising to help the men hold the line but the writing was so utterly pathetic and woke, i curse the writer put a fu***ng hex on the writers bunch of absolute losers See more Stephen G @Nightshift Apr 13 What a horribly unbelievable movie, this is nothing like any Milla Jovovich movie, and all the characters are unbelievably stupid, first off you have a petulant young girl that grew up in a seriously dangerous dystopian world, she lies constantly to her father, doesn't inform him of anything happening, especially dangerous things that are a great risk to them all. She doesn't listen to him, although I'm not surprised because all he does is tell stupid stories about a Paul Bunyan axe weilding alien slayer. She has no ability to fight or even survive on her own, her father isn't much better, her mother (spoiler) dissapears early on (the real star draw and attraction) Milla, the reason why I rented this abysmal and stupid film. They live off of random strawberries and peat moss. There's no epic fight scenes and I'm already 3/4 of the way through the film. The girl whines and cries like a terrified child throughout the film. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I want my 5 dollars back. The film's atmosphere is hauntingly beautiful, driven by a powerful narrative and exceptional performances from the lead cast. It’s a rare gem that manages to be both visually spectacular and intellectually stimulating, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats until the very last second. A must-watch for anyone who appreciates storytelling at its finest. Highly recommended!" See more deliverence R @RT49393968 Mar 31 A movie starring Milla Jovovich can t be wrong... I was wrong. I have not heard of this movie. I did not know anything about it. I was leery to watch it because Milla Jovovich has had a run of bad movies lately. This was no exception. She was barely present in the movie, only a few minutes all together, then was under utilized. Luke Evans did a great job at playing a nurturing father...when he was on screen. That leaves us with Billie Boullet to carry the movie. There was no explanation as to why the stiches happened, or why they call it a stich instead of fissure. A stitch is the opposite of what happened. No exploring the world. Everything is told through exposition. there was nothing to draw the viewer into the world. "Dad" never showed off any of the skills he was said to poses. I could go on. In all this movie was a waste of time. Go watch something else. See more Read all reviews
