This really felt fresh to me! I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something different. You can tell it’s an independent film with a relatively modest budget, but the filmmakers squeezed every ounce of drama and suspense out of this supernatural western while paying painstaking attention to making you feel like you’re truly on the frontier in the 1800s. I recognized a lot of the actors from different shows, and it was really fun seeing them all come together and deliver such believable performances.

Suspension of Disbelief is Paramount in Filmmaking: If the Audience gets even a Hint or Whiff of Fakeness, the whole Show just flounders.......And THE WOLF AND THE LAMB is definitely no exception. + Films shot with Digital Cameras, " Light Filters and " Shot Editing still, even with 2026 Technology, really stand out like a soar thumb. That's why certain Filmmakers will still only shoot on 35mm Film, as they should.

Started slow but grew into a compelling story. The emotional weight behind Jo's decision making and the struggle of sin and corruption both in the town and surrounding the town, physical and supernatural kept me hooked. The performances were stellar, and the score was so beautifully executed, shocking for the film's low budget, definitively making this feel like a bigger film. Will watch it again for sure!

I personally loved this film as a viewer who loves both horror and westerns. I think the dialogue was spot on and Eric Nelson who had a good majority of it delivered it perfectly. Adrianne Palicki was a total badass and their lead had me crying by the end. As a mother, I couldn’t imagine doing what she had to do. 5 stars for me.
