The perfect blend of '80s comedy, '80s horror, and Tom Atkins. it's not a groundbreaking film but peak 80s horror that'll give you some light scares, laughs, and cool scenes especially with fire.

Another great 80's horror that has camp, gore and plenty of comedic moments. Tom Adtkins is great. It seems like he has so much fun doing these horror movies. This alien scifi doesn't disappoint.

Aliens, Slugs and Zombies (12,228 – 25 Jan 2026 – Claudio Carvalho) The complete review is in my blog. "Night of the Creeps" is a cult-movie by Fred Dekker with a funny story of aliens, slugs and zombies. This movie is a sort of comedy and tribute to the zombie, slasher and sci-fi genres. There are good performances, the make-up is great and the lead actress Jill Whitlow is cute. This film follows the formula of B-movie inclusive with many beautiful legs and breasts in the sorority house. The conclusion is a cliffhanger for a never made sequel. My vote is seven. Fun B-movie that while not perfect, has more heart than bigger budgeted horror movies. The cast is solid and clearly having fun, especially the great Tom Atkins Det. Cameron, delivering the best lines with the right mix of gravitas. Behind the camera, writer/director Fred Dekker crafts a fun alien/zombie movie that pays homage to past horror/sci-fi, including the 1950's (as shown with the black & white prologue). There are a few plot holes, such as just why a guy was kept frozen for 30 years but the rest of the film is so fun you won't care, especially the gore filled ending at the sorority house. The best in fun, b-movie horror.

The reviews are FAR too low. This is a fantastic 80s horror movie, with good performances across the board, an incredible soundtrack, and just the right of Tom Atkins...never enough. More than a slice of 80s shlock, it's funny, scary, and bad ass. In the words of Mr. Atkins himself...THRILL ME.
