A rural roadside diner becomes the host of a maniacal killing spree – leaving a young waitress to clean up the mess. After hard-headed Nancy fires the staff at her dad’s diner, she decides to cover the last shift of the night by herself. Little does she know, she is far from alone. The day is coming back to haunt her and when things begin to spiral out of control, she must fight for her life over the course of one long night.

Last Straw is as much about the journey as it is the destination, and there’s a genuine feeling of delight as protagonist Nancy’s night from hell takes us to places its otherwise seemingly generic set-up might not prepare us for.

It's set entirely in a diner, which I love, and Jessica Belkin is a character you might be annoyed by at first, but give her a chance. She has a nice arc. This is what The Strangers Chapter 1 should have been due to the killers having a similar appeal.

Soundtrack: awesome Acting: good Screenplay: very good In spite of some unrealistic decisions by characters, this movie delivered. It had some unexpected twists and turns compared to other stabby thrillers, and it stuck with me in a way others won’t.

This movie absolutely positively sucked. The way she was stabbed twice and managed to pull out the knife and managed to walk out of the diner was so unbelievable. Worst movie I have ever seen. Acting is also really bad

I would have given this movie at least 4 stars except for about the last 10 to 15 minutes or so. The fact that she was stabbed in her back, in her side, in her stomach, etc., and yet she still managed to walk out of the diner, across the parking lot, and into the cop car ... and then drive a distance, get out of the car, etc. etc. etc. was not only unbelievable, it was fantastical. Throughout those last several minutes, I found myself saying out loud: "Oh, COME ON! What Bu11cr@p!"
