Based on a story by producer - and future B-movie wizard - Roger Corman, this certainly doesn't deserve any awards for its dialogue or acting. Go to Full Review

Martin B 2d I know it was a different era but the idea of a guy kidnapping a woman, dragging her around for a few days, stealing her car and she falls for him is just too absurd. Cars were cool, acting good, premise that depends on Stockholm syndrome turbocharged (pun intended) was a dumpster fire. That said the ending even more ridiculous. See more Mike W @MikeW269 03/06/2023 I enjoyed the movie, especially the road racing circa 1954. See more Nathaniel 05/16/2021 I liked the movie because there are a lot of speeding cars and drama See more 10/02/2015 It's by no means even a very involving film, but it does have decent effects, camera-work and music. It also showcases retro cars along with other things that are different from that time. It's screenplay even gives somewhat of an understanding to where the parts in The Fast and the Furious (2001) came from. However, the rest of writing has shifty character motives and some unimpressive acting. At least it's only an hour or so long; it'll go by quick.
