Dave S @RT09031536 04/05/2025 Here's the thing: I'm a huge Dickens fan, so I've read all his books and am now watching all film adaptations of them. If you're even slightly similar to me, you should watch this. I find something in every Dockens film that touches me in some way. This movie, while obviously flawed, in ways I, as a film watcher not maker, am not the one to critique; but as a reader, I will give it it's due credit for presenting Dickens to me and allowing me, once again, to renew my love for his brilliant story-telling, appreciate his genius for character crafting, and understanding of the human condition.
