While both seasons of Beef revolve around a different dispute, we can probably all agree that Season 2 is an amusing but unfortunate step down in quality. Go to Full Review
Robert Lloyd Los Angeles Times 2d
As in the less conclusive first season, it feels engineered to deliver the characters to happy, or relatively happy, endings, and to send viewers out not regretting their investment of time. Go to Full Review

Acted, written and directed with bracing brilliance, the follow-up to Season 1 is a stinging satire you won’t stop fighting about, with Charles Melton tops among acting equals Go to Full Review

Beef will, again, make you think, laugh, cringe and perhaps even cry. It also may have you eyeing the fast-forward button, as you wish at times it would get where it’s going a bit more swiftly. Go to Full Review
Dana Han-Klein We're Watching What?! 2d
If Season 1 was a filet mignon, Season 2 is an incredibly tasty burger - satisfying in it's own way but not near the caliber and finesse of its predecessor. Melton, Youn, & Song are standouts but the story spreads itself too thin vs the specificity of S1. Go to Full Review
Brooke Obie Black Girl Watching 2d
Charles Melton is the perfect himbo. Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, and Cailee Spaeny are deliciously wicked. Lee still manages to put on quite a searing spectacle. But that hopeless ending gets stuck in the throat. Go to Full Review

Denise H @Dnh00 22m Ok to watch if there's nothing on, but wow this really drags. See more Ann-Marie G. @RT70341084 30m I enjoyed this season! It was different and entertaining. See more Silvia M @SilviaMarques 1h It starts really well, but then it drags a little. Could have been shorter, maybe 6 episodes instead of 8, with less twists and turns. As the original dispute evolves and changes, the plot becomes confusing and full of loose ends. All that confusion then leads to a rushed ending. See more Stephen C @bob25009 1h 8 funny Netflix episodes. Ages 17 and older. See more rafiah A @rafiahthrewtomatoes 5h Beef season 2 was a triumphant commentary on the blow-backs of race/culture, insecurity, trauma, economic systems, and growth in our relationships. Everything in this season was masterfully intentional and a phenomenal watch. See more Paul B @Trypi 5h That moustache alone say 'avoid' See more Read all reviews
