The plot, centered on a boy, a girl, a white raven, a black raven, and a bizarre creature, feels all over the place and lacks cohesion. The creature design is laughably amateurish, resembling someone in a bird costume rather than anything imaginative or believable, making the visual effects feel cheap and uninspired. The main actor’s characterization is inconsistent—simultaneously portrayed as promiscuous yet in a committed relationship—which further muddies the narrative. Relationships and motivations feel forced, leaving the story hollow and unengaging. The pacing is chaotic, making it difficult to follow the plot or connect with the characters. Overall, the film is rushed, poorly thought out, and ultimately unwatchable; it offers little entertainment or creative value and cannot be recommended. See more adarkone1965 @adark1 Feb 9 The film did a good job focus on his descent...but the 40's noir feeling was lost with the palm trees and push button phone, and let's not forget the super cruise ships in the background of the " Annabel Lee " scenes.
