With only a few dips into crass sensationalism, this love story starring Paul Anthony Kelly and a standout star-is-born Sarah Pidgeon lets us share in John and Carolyn’s one brief shining moment and ache for what might have been. Go to Full Review

...what emerges on screen is an endless, drab slog charting what feels like every moment, no matter how narratively pointless, of the couple’s pre-relationship situations, courtship and marriage. Go to Full Review

Somehow, despite a degree of current-day Kennedy fatigue, this FX series feels fresh and compelling. Go to Full Review

Anyone hoping to glean a better picture of the glamorous couple probably shouldn’t use this nine-part series as their blueprint. Go to Full Review

For those of us who remember that time in New York City, Love Story may just hook you on nostalgia. Carolyn and her crew of fashion baddies in the city were a pretty good reflection of what those of us living in NYC at that time were going through. Go to Full Review

The kitsch and camp that characterise the worst of Murphy’s output is largely absent – possibly because he had no direct involvement in writing or directing it. In its place, though, is something equally as bad: grinding boredom. Go to Full Review

Stephanie P. @funishStephanie 1h A must see … two beautiful people make a story worth watching See more Jen T @Jenjustjen 8h This is one of Ryan Murphy's best shows. It is more like his Fued series. I like a lot of his shows, but sometimes he takes things too far with risque and gore. So far, this series is amazing. From the filming to the acting and the fantastic soundtrack, this show has it all. You actually feel the excitement you feel when you start falling in love and how it progresses with the characters. It has love, heartache - all the feels. I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes. See more Sydney C @sydNYC 16h This limited series has no redeeming qualities at all. The acting is terrible, except Naomi Watts camping it up as Jackie Kennedy Onassis and the storylines are boring. But the supposed love story between JFK Jr. and Carolyn Bessette is laughable, cringy and toxic. Let's get real, JFK Jr. had no real accomplishments, and was not very bright. He was a needy, flaky mama's boy, who treated Darryl Hannah, who was a very successful actress and actually loved him, like crap. Carolyn Bessette was portrayed as moody, pouty, aloof and vacuous, who whined more than she should have considering in real-life, she was supposedly a very strong, dynamic woman, who knew what she wanted and went after it. Neither JFK Jr. or Carolyn Bessette were very likeable in this spiraling abysmal series. Why does everyone seem to forget that Lauren Bessette died too? This was more of Ryan Murphy's overly campy schlock. What was new in this limited series that the audience either didn't know or should have known? See more jenalyn s @chyna362 19h This is beautiful and captivating. See more bonnie B. @bbrown6611 1d I love it and I was hesitant to watch at first. But to my surprise the actors are wonderful and both resemble John and Carolyn. Plus the acting is great.
