While attending art school in Switzerland, Anne Trister (Albane Guilhe) leaves her studies behind upon the death of her father and returns home to Quebec, where she sets up a studio to help her deal with her grief. Her obsession with her work, however, causes her to drift away from her old friend and new lover, Alix (Louise Marleau). Things grow even more intense when Anne is injured in a fall from her scaffold and returns from her hospital stay to find her studio condemned.
