She's not a nasty egomaniac like Phil, but she's self centered, oblivious to the world and people around her, and in emotional pain. Needless to say, there is a Mr. Wonderful, and it takes 90 some minutes for her to stop repeating Christmas Eve to land him, but it's a sweet story. Amy Smart plays the role well and with charm. See more Don H 12/26/2024 This is my Favorite Christmas movie. I love the chemistry between the stars and the character growth of the main character. What I did not notice till about the 3rd time watching was the "Twelve days of Christmas" cameos in each daily scene - for instance on the 5th iteration look for 5 golden rings, on the 12th day look for 12 lords a leaping... etc. Makes it so much fun to re-watch to find all the days. While that film may have had an original concept it doesn't mean other films can't be good. Give this movie a chance I'm a sucker for a good romance Christmas movie this one i like as well as Just Frineds which also has Amy Smart in it as well. I'm a big movie collector I have over 1100 movies on disc I've seen alot of Christmas movies trust me especially Christams romance comedies and this one I just enjoyed Amy Smart is a good actress she may not be as well know as many other A list actresses but she has a chemisty charm that works in movies thats believable and she's actually can be funny at times.
